I am very new to this sat world. I have 2 DM800 running OpenPli 2.1.

I found the PPanels very interesting and made a test panel to check my security cams.

I've tested all the options PPanels gave me and all the outputs of my security camera software. However when I click in any of the menu options...it does absolutely nothing.

Here is my panel.xml:

Install package ipk in console.

-write and save install log in current dir

-umount device

-auto detect file in mount device

- install and forced install

-show/hide message "No displayable files on this medium found!"

default location:extensions menu( button blue)

You can remove the plugin MediaScanner as unnecessary.

and on DM500 SD channels quality great.. 

i try autoresolution plugin on dm800se and setup SD channels 576P and i try 576i

and i dont see good Results ..

is there any setting should i do on dm800se so i can see SD channels in good quality like dm500

In the past I developed a few enigma2 images for the PowerPC boxes dm600pvr, dm500plus and dm7020. There are some old owners and new still using these images and have asked me for new plugins and specially for softcams. Will it be ok if I post these developments here and the images ?

The latest updates of OpenPli have really shown very good improvements. But one thing I'd like to be fixed is to choose what king of EPG we would like to be when we press the EPG button. In the previous versions we could select single EPG as a default. Now it's only Multi EPG. To get the single EPG we have to long press EPG button then 2, or press info then yellow button.  So, it has been removed from configuration which kind of EPG we would like to choose as our default. I don't know about the others but I don't really like the multi EPG system coz it's really confusing. And now it's a bit tiring to go to sing EPG. I'd like the developers to consider this matter, Thanks..

If no crashlog -

Step 1. Select Debug 'Yes' in Settings (blue button). Select Save.

Step 2. Telnet command :-

init 4 && killall -9 enigma2 && enigma2>/tmp/e.log 2>&1 &

Step 3. Start plugin again. When you have the error - copy the file /tmp/e.log - zip or rar it - and post here.

All posts with error report must include a crashlog or e.log.

Addon settings are in addon folder /resources/settings.xml. Many settings are not useful for enigma2. But you may change language, country etc. Put your chosen settings in default=. But for type="labelenum", put your choice as the last in the values list.

This tool for help those who will adapting skins for images Blekhol, OpenPLi and VTI. The plugin creates lists the components that are not exists in the images by default. Plugin works is very simple. Put file skin.xml from required skin to the folder tmp of your receiver, and go to the plugin window, select the desired image and press OK.
That's all.
It's In the tmp folder will created two files named converter and renderer, in which you can find a lists of the converters and renderers. In this lists will not be shown converters and renderers, which exists in the image by default.

Hello guys, I have a problem and I hope you awesome guys could help me.

I have dreambox 800hd and OpenPli 2.1 installed on it.

I need to install CMS IPTV Plugin, I cannot get it work. when I try to open plugin lists it says there is plugin which is not available and in the plugin list I cant see that plugin at all.

Should I install other image (is there stable and good enigma2 for dm800hd, I mean better than openPli 2.1 I should install in my box) to get this plugin work?

I'm running an open PLI 4 image on my VU Solo2 .... I would like to know if there is a way from command line to send some HDMI CEC commands to my TV ?

Basically, I have also a chrome cast which is connected to my TV and switches automatically the HDMI input while broadcasting.

While finished, I would like to have the server which broadcast though the Chromecast could send a SSH command to switch back to the VU+ HDMI Imput

would this be possible ?

From time to time - I am asked for help by the user of (or those wishing to use) the enigma2 images for dm600pvr and dm7020. I therefore start this thread where I will be available for advice.

The pcd.v10.0 images can be downloaded from the direct links below ( no need to log in).

Here are some details of the images :

Flash Install : Please note :-

The image can be installed in flash with Dreamup - or on multiboot with Barry Allen.

If installed in flash it will have a free memory of 3.8mb. If Memory Expander (Extra Setup -> Increase memory) is used the free memory increases to 10.0mb.

This image can be used without any additional storage - for example  pc, hdd, usb, cf. Of course, for Timeshift and Recording - additional storage is necessary !

Tips :-

Teletext (tuxtxt):

Enable/disable via Extra Setup. When teletext is enabled - long press and some other buttons do not work. Also numbers input do not work properly.

Video playback - fast forward/backward (seek action) :

Number buttons work with tv channel recordings. Seek action does not work with vlcplayer downloads.
However, button 0 will put position marker in vlcplayer downloads for restarting.

Plugin Enhancedmoviecenter :

Requires teletext to be enabled. Otherwise it will crash.

Starts enigma1 features. Uses enigma2 installed daemons. No need to install again.

hi devs - I am aware remotechannel stream converter does quite a good job setting up a tv-stream between two enigma2 boxes, however it lacks transcoding if required, eg on wlan or vpn ...

As ET10000 does quite a good job transcoding channels to tablets and smart phones ( eg blackbox for apple, or android dreamdroid with mx pro and xtrend transcoding addon ) I wonder this plug in can be enhanced enabling  transcoding? I am referring to similar config settings as the xtrend transcoding plugin carries: most important option would be " bitrate " imho. Rest, referring to " resolution ", " aspect ratio ", " framerate " and " interlaced " options can be obtained from the source and should be left untoched as much as possible.

However client side should be able to handle ( viewer, cpu, etc ) the transcoded streams.

Are there plans at OpenPLi ( or Xtrend ) to support this - would be delighted to test enigma2 clients to see if this works if your server is Xtrend ET10000/ET8000 or Vu+

Hello, i am looking for a way to add picons (and make them shown) in my iptv channels. I am using a vu+ solo receiver with OpenPLI 3.0. Does anybody knows? I am watching the channels from a bouquet straight to tv - like when you are watching satellite channels from a bouquet (through the receiver), not from a stream player in the receiver. The streams are not free to air.
