tested on Azbox HD Elite(Open Pli 3 Alonzo Blue 2.2 Mod)

it is necessary to install...

-Media Player 2 for Enigma 2
-Screen Stream for Android
currently there is no sound....
SD video works fine....
useful for a variety of presentations...Image,Documents,reading the newspaper,camera phone on TV,Google Maps...etc.....smile.png
create m3u file, just put the IP of your box...copy the m3u file in /media/net/.m3u....and put permissions to 755...
Now through Media Plajer 2, find the m3u file....Before that run on the phone program 'Screen Stream'....
You can use a Launcher,in Landscape mode...e.g.Smart Launcher....
Media Player 2...works fine on Open Pli 3 Mod Alonzo Blue 2.2

Inspired by Paulusz I decided to write this document. Mr Paulusz seems to be gone from this forum. So I took his start document , and filled it up with extra info like asked after all.

For many users it's sometimes difficult to start. The link below Quick Setup document does have a lott off ussefull tricks . Also help for windows users who want to set a virtual linux enviroment.

I'll try to update this document as much as possible. All tips, trucks and error corrections are welcome. This document does have the latest Makefile-2.1 for openpli (wich is still very experimental.)
If you wan't stability go for 2.0. Ubuntu natty users are better off with 2.1 version.

Quick Setup Document

It is not perfect at all but I hope You will find quick answers on some basic stuff in this document .
p.s. I added the latest Makefile-2.1 with this message. The most recent version will be avbl trough this link: Latest Makefile-2.1 or in the Quick Setup Document.
currently the link to 2.1 feeds and upgrades are not avbl yet, read how to do, to work around this logic issue (it's still experimental).

Dear all,

I see that other images have this plugin updated to version 0.8 and integrated directly in the image itself; so there isn't any ipkg available.

Why this plugin isn't updated in OpenPLI??

Thanks in advance.

BCM7405 graphics pipeline

Hi there !

I recently acquired an old BCM97405 development board (same chip as DM500HD and DM800SE) and I'm trying to write a small framebuffer driver for the board. I already get a 3.2 linux kernel for the board but the ethernet driver was missing and there's no clue of any video/framebuffer driver.

Does anyone has a link on some repository where there's example of graphic pipeline usage ? How OpenPLI works on those boards ?

Thanks for your help !

Damien.

DVDPlayer and MediaPlayer plugins there in menu

I know, that somebody hate plugins there in main menu, but why could not be this plugins optionaly displayed there in main menu ? Let user choose, what he want.
Main menu have 5 item only and for all must users to submenues. All who have children know, that is better prepare DVD into drive and child can easy select playback with DVDPlayer from main menu, than leave child operate in Movieplayer (Video), where it can easy remove anything. Similar it is with MediaPlayer and playlist.

enigma2-extensions-screengrabber_2.1

The object of the plugin to take instant screenshot for osd, video or both from simple remote control button click
Limited trails for coding enigma2 screenshot plugins done previously and mainly i found two one called standbild by valis and contains basic code for grabbing and the other one called screenshot(unknown auther) but both are incomplete
so i have tried my effort to make complete screenshot plugin with the following features
-take screenshot for osd, video or both and the action can be assigned simply from setup interface
-also the user can change the assigned remote control button to take screenshot
-The screenshot storing folder also can be changed from setup
-complete control of taken screenshot(size, resolution.format, aspect ratio and others)
-Complete management of taken screenshots images(preview and delete)

Installation:
from the attached ipk file as any ipk file
or from TSpanel servers

send the ipk file to tmp
by telnet
opkg install /tmp/enigma2-extensions-screengrabber-2.1_mipsel.ipk

vu+ streaming on xbmc

Hi, i have a vu+ and I am trying to stream tv channels on my xbmc (on my rasberry pi).

I am following all the tutorials I am finding. thus i am enabling live tv, and adding an the VU+/enigma addon where I am configuring the ip address of my vu+ receiver and giving the the username and password (of the root). xbmc is reading and saving the channel list into the folder where i have specified (i can also locate the xml file with the channel list).

however when i open Live Tv > tv Channels, nothing opens and instead the message "No PVR clients have been started yet..." is being displayed. I tried to search the solution to the problem on many forums but to no success.

mind you also tried to add the tv channels by adding a network location using tuxbox but when i tried it, xmbc sort of freezed for a minute and then displayed a message that "xmbc could not connect to the specified network location", but I am sure that i have given the correct ip address and also when it sort of tries to access the ip address i noticed that on my tv where i have my vu+ connected it sort of displays a "processing" icon - so the message is quite confusing in this case.

I do not know whether i should initialize or install a plugin/service on vu+ (as well because this is nowhere indicated) ...hope someone can help about this issue.

IPK Creator 4.1 + How to ...

Version 4.1

You Need To Install JRE (Java Runtime Environment) !

Download It From http://www.filehippo.com/download_jre/ (Windows)

You Need To Install 1.8.x Versions

After Installing JRE Just Run windows-run.bat

Still In Development !

==================================================

it's based on the sources of Ipk Packager and jpkg-webos but with so many changes

windows-run.bat is for Windows but as you know you can run a jar file in any operating system (Mac OS , linux , ...) because it's Java

i did compile it with Java 8 so you need JRE 1.8.x

enjoy creating ipk files
Version 4.1

fix "+" in version , now you can have +git for example

now you see required fields in red

clean and rebuild using JDK 8u5 and NetBeans IDE 8.0

OpenPLI 4 - Mediaplayer plugin

Hello,

I cannot use the forward or rewind function using remote keys ( 3, 6 and 9 > forward  and 1, 4 , 7 rewind ) when viewing a movie from my NAS using mediaplayer plugin.

It freezes and i have to restart the movie from the beginning.

I've used build from 03/05 and updated to the latest but the problem still exists.

Is it broken ?

Can everyone else forward and rewind ??

Using a VU+ Ultimo.

Thank you.  :)
